This "Anne Adams" pattern is probably from the 50's, it cost 1 1/2 cent to mail it. It is a size 26 waist. Fun flirtatious skirts. "A" a full (aprox 3 yards at hem) flared skirt with hip yoke. "B" (my personal fav) is an eight gore flared skirt. Skirts like this are so flattering and have an almost seductive air to them. I think it's the way they move when you walk.

This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 50's. It is a size 28 waist. Full, flared ten gore skirt. Choice of fabric and trim gives each a distinctive look. View one shows Rick-rack trim at each gore. View two (insert picture) has button trimmed tabs at waist. View three has two rows of braid and is ready for dancing.
