Vogue: 783 Size: 16 bust 34 hip 37 Printed: No Circa: 50's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Fair This "Vogue couturier" pattern is dated 1954. It is a size 16 bust 34 hip 37. This is an over size envelope. Suit..short fitted jacket buttons below notched collar. Notice how the front seams curve and are open below the waist line. Skirt has back panel with kick pleat. Several of the pattern pieces have tears but still quite usable. Threads sewing magazine (August/Sept. 07 issue) did an artical on vintage sewing patterns and the detail they offer. This pattern was shown as one of the examples. |
