The pattern number indicates that this is from about 1948, but it looks earlier than that to me. The original price was 50¢. It is a size 28 waist 37 hip. Culotte skirt--slightly flared with pleat at each side of front. Buttoned at side.

This "Advance" pattern is probably from 1947. It is a size 25 waist. Hat, belt and skirt. Featured in "Mademoiselle" magazine, timeless flared skirt, smart shaped belt (pattern is worth having just for this belt) and a sassy tam. All this and in only five pattern pieces.
