This "Advance" pattern is probably from the late 30's or early 40's. It is a size 17 bust 35. Party frock with bolero. This pattern is in excelent condition and complete with the exception of piece #4 which is a tiny little rectangular piece called a "stay". It is to reinforce the neckline and very simple to reproduce.

This "Superior" pattern, made for Sears, Roebuck & Co., is probably from the 40's. It is a size 14. Tailored pajamas (or slacks & shirt). This even includes a pattern for the funky little "bootie" houseshoes! Several or the pieces have tears or repairs. All are useable

Sweetheart neckline, fitted, midriff and two sleeve variations. Pattern is in good shape but envelope and instructions a a bit rough, but usable. That's Marjorie Woodworth featured on envelope.

This "New York Patterns" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 20¢. It is a size 16/34. I don't think this pattern has ever been used. Hollywood starlett! Delightful evening gown in two very different versions. Bodice has princess lines with four piece gathered skirt attached at lowered waist.

This is supposed to be a slip pattern but I'm thinking slinky, really slinky evening gown! This pattern is mint! Even the envelope shows very little wear but for a piece of tape on one edge. A real prize!

This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 40's, could be 30's. It is a size 36. Ladies house coat. Is this the epitome of elegant or what?! Front skirt joins bodice in flattering point at midriff. Back panel is flared for that "kicky" effect.

This "Simplicity" pattern isdated 1948. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 12/30. The envelope is a bit rough but the pattern is unused/uncut, still in the factory folds. This is called a "maternity" dress or housecoat. It is a very wearable style, maternity or not. I'd love to have this!

This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 40's. Looking at the graphics and the price on the envelope this could very well be 30's. I couldn't find a date. The original price was 15¢. It is a size bust 36. Simplicity calls this a nightgown but we know better don't we?! It's an evening gown, a very sexy,very slinky, evening gown.Bodice features a deep "V" neckline both front and back. View "1 has turned back revers and the skirt (of course) is bias cut.

This tantalizing little one piece formal has scooped neckline and a four section flared skirtfor lots of whirling and twirling. Would you believe that the pattern includes the little fingerless gloves (mitts) shown in view #1! And that Jackson kid thought he had an original!

It is sweet no matter what the date! This bouffant dance dress has a low "portrait" neckline, drop shoulders, with either puff or cap sleeve, a fittied bodice and full bouffant skirt guaranteed to whirl when you twril!
