PT31-19 Price: $30.00 New Simplicity: 2253 Size: 18 1/2 37 bust Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: 25¢ Envelope Condition: Excellent This "Simplicity" pattern is from 1947. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 18 1/2 37 bust. Day or evening length slip..or as we like to call them..sundress or evening gown! Notice the figure moulding lines, the entire front is cut in one peice(thus causing the princess lines). The bodice sides and back are attached at the waist. The back of the bodice forms a point that ends just below the natural waist. This creats a smooth flow over the hips and eliminats that little ripple of fabric that so often occurs in form fitting dress.	PT31-16 Price: $45.00 New McCall's: 6831 Size: 14/32 Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: 45¢ Envelope Condition: Fair This "McCall's" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 45¢. It is a size 14/32. Simply Elegant! One piece evening dress. Slightly dropped waist forms a center point over flat front panel (very slenderizing, very flattering) and fullness is from gathers at sides and back. Width at hem is approx. 5 3/8 yards.
PT30-83 Price: $16.00 New Marian Martin: 9123 Size: 13 31 bust 26 waist Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Good This "Marian Martin" pattern is probably from the 40's. It is a size 13, 31 bust 26 waist. Shorts, skirt, top and dress.... Skirt is gathered on waist band. Shorts have darts that release fullness. Midriff top has button front, with or without ruffle, sleeveless or short sleeves. Dress details much the same as skirt and top. Very 40's, very cute! This 12 piece pattern appears to be unused. There are two small tears on the instruction sheet.	PT30-82 Sold McCall's: 7262 Size: 12/30 Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: 65¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "McCall's" pattern isdated 1948. The original price was 65¢. It is a size 12/30. Shorts and bare midriff top...top has straps, button back, and is fitted. The kicky little shorts have front pleats,fitted in back, side pockets.
PT30-55 Price: $65.00 Butterick: 4837 Size: 12/30 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 75¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "Butterick" pattern is probably from 1948 or 49. The original price was 75¢. It is a size 12/30. Wedding gown or evening gown...this is breath taking! Fitted bodice with drop yoke, button back, sculptured midriff. A most unusual back detail in the skirt, a winged drapery sweeps backward on the full, eight gore skirt and flows into a train! The small inset (click on picture to enlarge) shows the evening gown version. The envelope is tattered and the patterns has some wrinkles but is complete and very usable. It is a size 12. Evening dress....bodice is dart fitted, square neckline both fornt and back. long, full four gore skirt. Envelope is getting a bit worn but the pattern appears unused.
PT30-18 Price: $18.00 New Butterick: 4479 Size: 14/32 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 25¢ Envelope Condition: Fair This "Butterick" pattern is probably from 1948. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 14/32. Wrap dress--The envelope is a bit ratty but the pattern is nice and the dress is really cute. It has scollops rippling from neck to waist. Scollops are repeated on pocket and cap sleeves. "B" shows short sleeves. The full flared skirt is cut in four pieces.	PT29-83 Price: $16.00 Advance: 2407 Size: 16 34bust 37 hip Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 15¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "Advance" pattern is from 1940. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 16 34bust 37 hip. Playsuit and skirt. Full flirty shorts have pleats front and back that are stitched flat to hip line. Play suit has buttons and skirt follows suit to button to hem line. Perfect for shopping, tennis, swing dancing or just for fun. Patterns pieces for shoulder pads are missin. (no one uses those anyway!). Several pieces have tears from use and folding but are quite usable.
PT29-62 Price: $20.00 Mail Order?????: 5020 Size: 20/38 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Excellent This "Mail Order, Country Gentleman", pattern is probably from the 40's. It is a size 20/38. Slip, sun dress, formal... Dart fitted bodice shaped fitted midriff section and bias cut. That all adds up to a slinky dress. The pattern has a "shorten/lengthen" line and should be easy to adjust to floor length. This pattern is "mint", unused and collection worthy.	PT29-29 Price: $25.00 Vogue: 2354 Size: 10 modern Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: 25¢ Envelope Condition: Excellent This "Vogue" pattern is a 1999 re-release of an original 1947 design. This is NOT an old pattern, only an old design. It has modern sizing. The original price was $25.00. It is a size 10. It is uncut/unused. Ladies special occasion dress in day or evening length. Shaped bodice with front tucks. Notice view "B" where the inset is show in a texture different from the body fabric.

The original price was 15¢. It is a size 18 bust 36. Slip (or sundress) designed to fit smoothly and skim over body.	PT27-12 Price: $18.00 Simplicity: 1954 Size: 12/30 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 25¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 12/30. Can you believe that this is a maternity dress?! The fullness is on either side of the princess line front panel and is gathered in with the sash.
PT26-67 Price: $45.00 Mail Order?????: 1421 Size: 16 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Excellent This "Mail Order?????" pattern is probably from the 40's. It is a size 16. It appears to be unused. Floor length evening gown with bust enhancing, waist whittling midriff insert.	PT26-66 Price: $40.00 Advance: 2127 Size: 17 bust 35 Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Good This "Advance" pattern is probably from the late 30's or early 40's. It is a size 17 bust 35. Party frock with bolero. This pattern is in excelent condition and complete with the exception of piece #4 which is a tiny little rectangular piece called a "stay". It is to reinforce the neckline and very simple to reproduce.
PT26-51 Price: $10.00 Superior: 9888 Size: 14 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: Envelope Condition: Good This "Superior" pattern, made for Sears, Roebuck & Co., is probably from the 40's. It is a size 14. Tailored pajamas (or slacks & shirt). This even includes a pattern for the funky little "bootie" houseshoes! Several or the pieces have tears or repairs. All are useable	PT26-30 Price: $9.00 Hollywood: 1006 Size: 16/34 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 15¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "Hollywood" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 16/34. Pajamas/slacks/shirt. Jacket is gathered below yoke. Collar and pockets optional. Slacks have elastic in back only. And just in case you get carried away with this, there are instructions for kniting bed socks!
PT26-23 Sold Unknown: 9630 Size: 14/32 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 60¢ Envelope Condition: Mint This "Vogue" pattern is from1943 . The original price was 60¢. It is a size 14/32. Negligee/housecoat with true Hollywood glamor! Inset belt joins the four piece skirt to the top. Three sleeve lengths.	PT25-94 Price: $38.00 New York Patterns: 753 Size: 16/34 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 20¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "New York Patterns" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 20¢. It is a size 16/34. I don't think this pattern has ever been used. Hollywood starlett! Delightful evening gown in two very different versions. Bodice has princess lines with four piece gathered skirt attached at lowered waist.
PT25-35 Price: $17.00 Simplicity: 2460 Size: 12/30 Printed: Yes Circa: 40's Original Price: 25¢ Envelope Condition: Fair This "Simplicity" pattern isdated 1948. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 12/30. The envelope is a bit rough but the pattern is unused/uncut, still in the factory folds. This is called a "maternity" dress or housecoat. It is a very wearable style, maternity or not. I'd love to have this!	PT25-34 Price: $75.00 Simplicity: S610 Size: bust 36 Printed: No Circa: 40's Original Price: 15¢ Envelope Condition: Good This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 40's. Looking at the graphics and the price on the envelope this could very well be 30's. I couldn't find a date. The original price was 15¢. It is a size bust 36. Simplicity calls this a nightgown but we know better don't we?! It's an evening gown, a very sexy,very slinky, evening gown.Bodice features a deep "V" neckline both front and back. View "1 has turned back revers and the skirt (of course) is bias cut.
