This "Butterick" pattern is probably from 1948. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 14/32. Wrap dress--The envelope is a bit ratty but the pattern is nice and the dress is really cute. It has scollops rippling from neck to waist. Scollops are repeated on pocket and cap sleeves. "B" shows short sleeves. The full flared skirt is cut in four pieces.

This "McCall's" pattern is from 1948. The original price was 50¢. It is a size 10/28. Play suit..two piece, bare midriff top and shorts. Top has round scoop neckline, button front, gathers at neckline and band for fullness. The cute little shorts have side closure and and tiny gathers at each side both front and back.

This "Advance" pattern is from 1940. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 16 34bust 37 hip. Playsuit and skirt. Full flirty shorts have pleats front and back that are stitched flat to hip line. Play suit has buttons and skirt follows suit to button to hem line. Perfect for shopping, tennis, swing dancing or just for fun. Patterns pieces for shoulder pads are missin. (no one uses those anyway!). Several pieces have tears from use and folding but are quite usable.

This "Hollywood" pattern is probably 1945. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 12/30. Shorts, Jacket/shirt & top...The sexy little shorts are box pleated giving the appearence of a short skirt. The jacket/shirt has convertable collar, gathers at shoulders, patch pockets and long or short sleeves.The bare midriff top has knot/tie closure at the base of the deep "V" neck.

This "McCall's" pattern isdated 1943. It is a size 16/34. Slip..sundress? princess lines for figure flattering fit. Only 6 patterns peices including the straps. Instruction sheet is torn at fold lines. Envelope has been cut apart and pasted to a bag.

This "Mail Order, Country Gentleman", pattern is probably from the 40's. It is a size 20/38. Slip, sun dress, formal... Dart fitted bodice shaped fitted midriff section and bias cut. That all adds up to a slinky dress. The pattern has a "shorten/lengthen" line and should be easy to adjust to floor length. This pattern is "mint", unused and collection worthy.

This "Mail Order?????", Country Gentleman, pattern is probably from the 40's. It is a size 38/40 bust. Gown...nightgown or evening gown? Cutting instructions show this to be cut on the bias..love that! It also gives directions for a short version. Lovely shaped midriff rises to a point at bodice. I don't think this has ever been used...excellent condition and in hard to find larger sizing.

This "Simplicity" pattern could be from the 40's, I think, from the pattern number that it may be late 30's. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 14/32. Evening gown and jacket....Topped off by a smart little jacket this beguiling gown has heart shape neckline that is edged in delicate pleating. The full skirt joins the bodice in a point to mimick the neckline. The jacket is fitted and forms a peplum effect. It has a Peter Pan collar and is edged in the same pleats as the gown. The pattern is in great condition ..the envelope is showing its 70ish years of age.

This "Vogue" pattern is from the 1944. The original price was 50¢. It is a size 16 34 bust 37 hip. Wrap dress, bra style top and shorts... the wrap dress has "V" neck, cap sleeves flared skirt and an inset belt. The inset belt gives much better fit and stability to the wrap. The bare midriff top buttons in back. Are these the cutest shorts you've ever seen?! Darling! Look how the shaped waist band duplicates the top. Buttons on both sides. The envelope is a bit raged around the edges but the pattern appears unused.

This "Vogue" pattern is a 1999 re-release of an original 1947 design. This is NOT an old pattern, only an old design. It has modern sizing. The original price was $25.00. It is a size 10. It is uncut/unused. Ladies special occasion dress in day or evening length. Shaped bodice with front tucks. Notice view "B" where the inset is show in a texture different from the body fabric.

This "Butterick" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 65¢. It is a size 12/30. Evening gown.. This really has the WOW factor! Jewel neckline, dolman sleeves. The skirt has a drape that crosses over the front and cascades down the side. The pattern pieces for the shoulder pads and the back neck facing are missing. That wouldn't be a problem for anyone who can sew well enough to make this dress.

This "Vogue" pattern is dared 1954. The original price was 75¢. It is a size 16/34. Evening dress in two skirt lengths. The full skirt (180" on floor length, 148" on shorter) joins bodice at natural waistline. View "A" shows double bands accenting the neckline. View "B" has an untrimed neckline and shows button trim (which may be eliminated) down the diagional. Although the envelope is in bad condition, the pattern is nice.

Don't you love those huge scallops!? Street length or formal/full length. Skirt is aprox. 154" at hem. Blouse has lowered shoulders to form a cap sleeve or may have long sleeves.

This "Simplicity" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 16 bust 34. House coat/ robe..Bodice has gathers at shoulders. View #1 has cute little peplum effect. Pattern is in excellent condition (envelope is not) but for some reason some of the pieces were copied, probably to adjust size, and they were done on wallpaper of the era! I left them in.

This "Advance" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 16/34. Evening gown?! I'm sure the pattern company intended this to be a nightgown. Whatever the intent, it is fabulous! I first thought that for an evening gown I would eleminate the pocket. On second thought, I decided it would be rather cutting edge to leave it. How about a plain satin fabric with a sequin pocket!? The pattern appears unused. Pattern and envelope are in excellent condition.

This "Butterick" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 35¢. It is a size 16/34. Wrap style house frock/ house coat. Floor length or day length-long or short sleeves. This was designed as materity wear but I see no reason to confine it to that. I'd love to have a housecoat like this. Pattern is uncut/unused but envelope is showing wear.
