This "McCall's" pattern is from 1948. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 18/36. Sweet and Simple! One piece dress with flared four gore skirt. "A" has turned back collar, "B" has rounded neck and string tie. Although the pattern appears unused the piece for the belt and the piece for the shoulder pads are missing.

This "Vogue" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 60¢. It is a size 44 bust 47 1/2 hip. UNBELIEVABLE! This rare and marvelous pattern has all the style and glamor of the Hollywood elite of the era. It has never been used and has hard to locate larger sizing. The envelope is rough and the instruction sheet has age discoloration. Bodice front is gathered just below the shoulder line and drifts gently into released pleats which come together again just above the waist and continue down the slim skirt to the hip line where they release again and fall to the hem. "A" and incert "C" show the front panel in a contrast color...how sliming is that?!
