This "Butterick" pattern is probably from the 80's. The original price was $4.75. It is a size small through large. Hood, turban, tam and hat...A stylish collection of head gear. "D" and "E" are perfect for 40's fashions. Teenagers love "F", the headband. Wouldn't thses be great for someone on chemo? My sister aquired an extensive collection of hats when she was taking chemo. She had so much fun with them she continued to wear them after her hair came back.

This "Advance" pattern is probably from the 40's. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 20 38 bust. One piece dress...simple is always stylish and here it is at it's best! View #1 has long sleeves, high neckline, and a fitted, boned cummerbund type belt the fastens in back. View #2 has short sleeves, a diamond shaped opening at neckline. Full, flared (about 112") skirt. Pattern appears unused but it and the envelope have age discoloration.

This "Simplicity" pattern is from 1952. The original price was 35¢. It is a size 16/34. One piece sun dress and jacket. Dress is fashioned with tucked front bodice. The full flared skirt (approx. 145" at hem) has additional gathers in front. Narrow straps tie in tiny bows at shoulder. The short jacket has small collar and 3/4 sleeves. The instruction sheet in torn on fold lines.

Bare midriff top has square neckline and button front. The sultry dress/tunic has mandarin collar, button front, cap sleeves and optional pocket. The pattern has been cut to the tunic version but the extension piece in included.

This "Advance" pattern is from 1943. The original price was 25¢. It is a size 40 bust 43 hip. This is a stunning one piece dress with lots of detail and in a hard to find larger size. Notice how the bodice obtains fullness from the gathers in the shoulder yokes. Button front, short or 3/4 sleeves, slight flare to gored skirt. That was the good part..here's the bad part..The envelope is in poor condition and the pattern is rough..it has taped repairs. It is very usable, just rough and discolored. Prices accordingly!

This "Advance" pattern is from 1940. The original price was 15¢. It is a size 16 34bust 37 hip. Playsuit and skirt. Full flirty shorts have pleats front and back that are stitched flat to hip line. Play suit has buttons and skirt follows suit to button to hem line. Perfect for shopping, tennis, swing dancing or just for fun. Patterns pieces for shoulder pads are missin. (no one uses those anyway!). Several pieces have tears from use and folding but are quite usable.

Note how the blouse neckline mimicks the jacket. Blouse buttons in back and has short set in sleeves. Slim, stright skirt has back kick pleat.

This "Mail Order?????" pattern is probably from the 40's, maybe 50's but it was one cent to mail so I'd say 40's. It is a size 18/36. Wrap dress---we all love the ease and flattering lines of the wrap dresses and this one is certainly special! Pretty scalloped accents at neckline and repeated at hip. Cap or (unshown) 3/4 sleeves. Pristine, unused pattern and nice sizing.

The jacket/shirt has convertable collar, gathers at shoulders, patch pockets and long or short sleeves.The bare midriff top has knot/tie closure at the base of the deep "V" neck.

This "New York Patterns" pattern is probably from the 50's. The original price was 35¢. It is a size 14/32. Sundress and bolero...Bare back halter style, front button closure. Full skirt has inset pockets. Bolero is collarless and has tab button closure. We have checked this twice and there is a duplication of piece#7..skirt panel. I have no idea why..maybe mistake at the factory?

Encluded are tips for fabric choice and color depending on season..also other tips for the wedding. Skirt back piece has been cut vertically (to add width?) Sleeve has been cut to short but extension piece is there should you want the longer version. Skirt front has been cut horizontally (to add length?) Pattern is in very good condition.
